The PIR energy saving system measures natural infrared light radiating from people in its field of view. The unit also detects light levels entering the room, so it will only switch on lighting when the room is dark and the sensitivity is adjustable. The sensor covers 180 degrees by 8m long. There is no on/off button as the DYB switch sensor can be configured to check a certain level of movement before activating.
